Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) was an American actor. Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress. Bassett comes from New York New York. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett as well as her younger sister who were about five years old, moved out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the separated father. Bassett decided to be an actor after watching the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. In 1980, Bassett was graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut with an undergraduate degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from The Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in the year 1980. The school she attended was the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for seventh graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles in the film Ramonda in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
